First, water-absorbing sealing strips come in two types of rubber material: oil-resistant and standard non-oil-resistant. We need to select either the oil-resistant or the standard strip based on the specific application environment. Oil-resistant rubber is more suitable for surfaces that are frequently exposed to oil, but it has poorer abrasion resistance. This is an important point to keep in mind when purchasing sealing strips.
