How much do you know about the structure of industrial vacuum cleaners?
When it comes to vacuum cleaners, most people aren't strangers to them—many think of the household vacuum cleaners they use at home. However, fewer people are familiar with industrial vacuum cleaners. An industrial vacuum cleaner mainly consists of three key components: dust generation, dust collection, and dust filtration. Typically, it includes a series-wound commutator motor, a centrifugal fan, a dust filter (or bag), and various vacuuming accessories.
In fact, there are significant differences among industrial vacuum cleaners, commercial vacuum cleaners, and household vacuum cleaners. Industrial vacuum cleaners have high power—typically ranging from 400 to 1,000 watts or even higher; portable industrial vacuum cleaners usually have a power rating of 250 watts or lower. They feature strong suction power, motor overheating protection, and can operate continuously for extended periods, up to 24 hours a day. Industrial vacuum cleaners come with large filter areas, long service lives, and high filtration accuracy. Many models are equipped with manual or automatic dust-shaking mechanisms, and more advanced models may include pneumatic reverse-blowing systems. Industrial vacuum cleaners also incorporate cyclone separators or baffle plates to effectively protect the filter elements. The dust collection containers of industrial vacuum cleaners are fitted with sturdy support structures made of stainless steel, ensuring both durability and large capacity. Some containers can be easily detached for convenient operation. Furthermore, industrial vacuum cleaners offer a wide variety of accessories that can be used in combination to meet diverse needs.
1. Power section: vacuum cleaner motor and speed controller. The speed controller comes in manual control and automatic control versions.
2. Filtration System: Dust bag, pre-filter, and post-filter. Depending on the filtration material, they can be categorized as: paper-based, fabric-based, SMS, and HEPA.
3. Functional components: wire-retracting and -extending mechanism, dust-full indicator, button or slide switch.
4. Protective features: dust-bag protection, over-vacuum protection, anti-interference protection (soft start), overheating protection, and anti-static protection.
5. Attachments: Handle and hose, adapter, floor brush, crevice nozzle, round brush, sofa nozzle, hook, and strap.
There are many different brands of industrial vacuum cleaners, and choosing the right one is quite a science. It’s essential to understand the actual conditions of your working environment and select an industrial vacuum cleaner that’s suitable for your needs.
