Precautions After Using a Floor Scrubber
1. Turn off the power.
Before leaving the floor scrubber, be sure to immediately turn off the power to ensure that the machine cannot accidentally start up. Also, after each work session, check the battery capacity of the floor scrubber to see whether it needs to be recharged. This will effectively prevent insufficient battery power from affecting the next day’s work.
II. Discharging wastewater
After the floor scrubber has finished working, be sure to empty the dirty water tank completely and thoroughly clean it afterward. Otherwise, this could affect the suction performance. Especially during the hot summer months, failing to clean the dirty water tank may lead to unpleasant odors and even bacterial growth. After finishing the cleaning task, also make sure to drain all the clean water from the clean water tank—don’t let the clean water mixed with detergent remain in the tank for an extended period.
3. Clean the sewage tank, suction hose, and drainage system.
In summary, after finishing cleaning with a floor scrubber, be sure to turn off the power and properly dispose of the wastewater.
