Reasons for Noise in Industrial Vacuum Cleaners

When using industrial vacuum cleaners, you’re bound to encounter some rather unusual noises. So how can you identify the causes of these noises? 1. If your industrial vacuum cleaner’s dustbin or filter emits a “tap-tap” sound—indicating hard objects colliding—this suggests that the machine has sucked in metal particles, metal fragments, or other relatively hard, bulky objects. This could potentially damage the filter element. In such cases, simply stop the machine, remove the foreign objects from inside, and prevent further damage by avoiding contact between hard objects and the filter material. 2. If the motor area produces abnormal sounds like “tap-tap” or “click-click,” the source of the noise in your industrial vacuum cleaner could be due to the impeller being deformed and rubbing against the housing, or possibly because the rotor is touching the stator. Another possible cause is damage to the motor bearings. If these issues aren’t addressed promptly, they could lead to motor failure, and even overheating and ignition due to friction. As soon as you notice such noises, immediately stop the machine, disassemble the motor or impeller cover, and inspect which parts are experiencing abnormal friction or collisions. Then, adjust or repair the affected components accordingly. 3. Industrial vacuum cleaners typically have very strong suction power.
