Analysis of why the floor scrubber cannot suction up wastewater?
Battery-powered, fully automatic floor scrubbers have become widely popular because they eliminate the constraints of power cords, making them more convenient to use for large-scale cleaning tasks. However, it’s not uncommon for these machines to fail to absorb water. Today, our editor will analyze the reasons behind this issue and provide solutions. The water-absorbing function of battery-powered, fully automatic floor scrubbers is provided by the suction motor in the wastewater tank, the suction hose, and the suction squeegee. The primary causes of failure to absorb water are air leaks and blockages; specific scenarios include the following:
First, turn on the machine’s power switch and listen to see whether the water-suction motor is making any sound. If it is, proceed to the next step; if not, check the wiring and ensure that the water-suction motor is in good condition.

1. If there’s an air leak at the connection between the suction pipe and the sewage tank or the suction nozzle, simply seal the connection properly.
2. The sewage tank lid isn't sealed properly. The sewage tank lid is equipped with a sealing strip and normally shouldn't be improperly sealed. If this issue occurs, it's usually because the screws on the hinge have been tightened too much, causing the lid to lift up. If you can open the tank lid while the water-suction motor is running, it confirms that the lid isn't sealed tightly.
3. If a blockage occurs, trace the problem from the beginning until you identify the point where suction starts to fail—this is where the blockage lies. It’s important to note that a blockage can easily cause the water-suction motor’s fuse to blow; therefore, if the water-suction motor isn’t working, the first thing you should check is whether the fuse is intact.
