Fun Facts About Vacuum Cleaners [Watch] [Watch]
1. Check whether the power cord, plug, switch, and other components of the wet-and-dry vacuum cleaner are damaged. If so, they need to be repaired or replaced.
2. Ensure that the interior of the wet-and-dry vacuum cleaner’s dustbin is thoroughly cleaned and that all accessories (such as hoses, brushes, dust bags, etc.) are free from blockages.
3. Check the overall suction performance of the wet-and-dry vacuum cleaner to confirm that it is functioning properly. If not, inspect the connection points of various components and ensure that the sealing ring at the base of the nozzle is in good condition.
4. Verify and confirm the cleaning task for the working environment. If you’re vacuuming dry debris, make sure to install the dust bag. If you’re vacuuming liquids, you don’t need a dust bag. However, do not use the wet-and-dry vacuum cleaner in areas with excessive debris or sludge.
I. First, let’s introduce the preparatory steps before using the wet-and-dry industrial vacuum cleaner:
1. Check whether the power cord, plug, switch, and other components of the wet-and-dry vacuum cleaner are damaged. If so, they need to be repaired or replaced.
2. Check whether the body of the wet-and-dry vacuum cleaner is thoroughly cleaned and whether any attachments (such as hoses, brush heads, dust bags, etc.) are blocked.
3. Check the suction performance of the wet-and-dry vacuum cleaner as a whole to ensure it’s functioning properly. If not, inspect the connection points of each component and verify that the sealing ring at the base of the nozzle is in good condition.
4. Check and confirm that the cleaning task for the work environment has been completed. If vacuuming, make sure to install the dust bin and dust bag. If suction is for water, there’s no need to use a dust bag; however, do not use a wet-and-dry vacuum cleaner in areas with excessive debris or sludge.
II. Precautions for Operation of Wet-and-Dry Industrial Vacuum Cleaners:
1. Check whether the motor plug of the wet-and-dry vacuum cleaner is properly and securely inserted. Otherwise, after power-on, the motor may run unevenly, resulting in insufficient suction power and shortening the motor’s service life.
2. The wet-and-dry vacuum cleaner features flexible motor control when vacuuming or mopping—such as with a three-motor system. If only one or two motors are sufficient to achieve the desired result, there’s no need to activate the additional motor. However, for large-area cleaning, it’s best to maximize the use of all three motors in a cyclical operation.
3. When using a wet-and-dry vacuum cleaner in environments where foam is present or likely to form, it is essential to add an antifoaming agent to the tank to eliminate the foam and prevent it from being carried into the motor by the strong airflow.
4. During the use of a wet-and-dry vacuum cleaner, the power cord should not be excessively long, and you must not extend it yourself. The wire gauge must not be smaller than that specified for this machine. Additionally, the power cord must not be coiled into loops, as this could generate a magnetic field and result in insufficient operating voltage for the machine.
5. Pay attention to any changes in the noise level of the wet-and-dry vacuum cleaner’s motor. If the motor noise suddenly becomes deeper and more pronounced, you should check all connecting hoses or verify whether the dust container is full. In such cases, clean the hoses or remove the contents from the container. Another possible cause of extremely loud noise is a problem with the vacuum cleaner’s motor itself, which requires timely repair.
6. When cleaning up liquid substances sucked in by a wet-and-dry vacuum cleaner, you must remove the nozzle head. Do not tilt the machine upside down to prevent liquids from entering the motor. Also, ensure that no corrosive substances enter the motor to avoid damage.
