The primary uses of explosion-proof valves
Explosion-proof valves are primarily used in hydraulic systems of large-scale mechanical stages, lift platforms, elevators, and vehicle inspection and repair frames—equipment that lacks mechanical locking systems. Their main function is to provide protection and prevent safety accidents. They serve as a locking mechanism within hydraulic systems. This requirement is mandatory for CE certification; thus, explosion-proof valves were first invented and manufactured in Europe. Later, they were introduced to China and have since gained widespread adoption. Explosion-proof valves feature a simple structure and a compact, space-saving design, making them easy to install at the inlet of actuator units.
