2023 China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Achievement Fair (hereinafter referred to as the Innovation Fair) The event will be held from November 17 to 19 at the Guangzhou Pazhou Exhibition Hall. This year’s Innovation Fair will adopt a “3+2+N” organizational model. Specifically, the “3” refers to one exhibition, one forum, and one competition; the “2” represents two supporting components—a platform for transforming research outcomes and an Innovation Fair Fund for outcome transformation; and the “N” signifies the release of multiple lists highlighting innovative and entrepreneurial achievements.

This year’s Innovation Fair features 30,000 square meters of exhibition space, encompassing 10 strategic and key industry zones—including next-generation high-end equipment and electronic information, intelligent and new-energy vehicles, biopharmaceuticals and the sports & health industry, intelligent equipment and robotics, green petrochemicals, and new materials—as well as 3 important functional zones.

In the new-generation high-end equipment and electronic information exhibition area, we will focus on showcasing application achievements in fields such as ultra-high-definition video and next-generation displays, smart terminals, software, 5G, Beidou communication and navigation, blockchain and quantum information, metaverse technologies and industrial applications, as well as the empowerment of the digital economy for intelligent manufacturing and the industrial internet.

Meanwhile, this Innovation Fair has also set up a separate exhibition area dedicated to smart and new-energy vehicles. This area will focus on showcasing R&D and manufacturing technologies for smart cars, pure electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, as well as key components and technological applications supporting intelligent driving decision-making, intelligent sensing, human-machine interaction, battery-electric motor-electric control systems, high-precision mapping, and next-generation electronic and electrical architectures.

In addition, the Semiconductor and Integrated Circuit Exhibition Area will showcase the latest products and technologies in the semiconductor and integrated circuit industry, covering areas such as integrated circuit manufacturing, semiconductor equipment manufacturing, third-generation semiconductors, and electronic components. The Modern Agriculture and Food Exhibition Area will highlight innovative achievements including advanced agricultural cultivation techniques, leading talents in modern agriculture, preservation and processing of raw materials for central kitchens, standardization of pre-prepared meal production processes, and the R&D of new pre-prepared meal products. The Future Technology Industry Exhibition Area will focus on fostering and developing emerging future industries, emphasizing cutting-edge sectors such as quantum technology, blockchain, terahertz technology, natural gas hydrates, and nanotechnology. This area will also feature a selection of “specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative” start-ups in the field of future technologies, as well as outstanding science and technology innovation projects that are connected to capital markets.

This year’s Innovation Fair will also host an “1+N” forum, offering specialized support such as market expansion and entrepreneurship training. During the fair, there will be special events including achievement auctions and technology transfer sessions. In addition, there are 96 achievement transformation bases and a 10-billion-yuan Innovation Fair Achievement Transformation Fund, which can provide participants with end-to-end services—including industrial park resources, achievement transformation, and investment and financing matchmaking—thus supporting the localization and commercialization of innovative and entrepreneurial achievements in China.

In addition, the Innovation Fair also features an online platform (https://fair.chinaief.net/), which includes nine major service sections such as “Demand Hub,” “Technological Achievements,” and “Tech Finance.” The platform provides 24-hour, non-stop intelligent matching and personalized recommendations of popular exhibitors, high-quality projects, forum activities, and other relevant content, enabling rapid response to user needs and facilitating seamless integration between online and offline experiences.

The China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Achievement Fair is a national-level science and technology expo held permanently in Guangzhou. Since its inception in 2015, this prestigious event has become an important window through which Guangzhou continues to radiate the “Bay Area’s appeal” to the world.
