Why doesn’t the floor scrubber’s squeegee clean properly?

Floor scrubbers are becoming increasingly common, and they’re now used in a wide variety of settings—including shopping malls, supermarkets, factories, train stations, and more. As their usage grows, so do the various issues that arise—for example, the scraper blades on floor scrubbers sometimes fail to clean thoroughly. So how can we address this problem? Let’s take a look.
1. Check whether the water-absorbing motor is working properly. You can do this by opening the motor and then trying to open the lid of the wastewater tank. If the lid is tightly sealed, it means there’s no problem.
2. Check whether the sewage tank lid and the sewage pipe cover are securely closed.
3. Check whether the pipe is clogged. If it’s clogged, the suction power will be insufficient, which can also result in poor cleaning performance.
4. Check whether the water-absorbing strip is excessively worn, damaged, or has foreign objects such as pebbles inside. If there are pebbles or other foreign objects, clean them out thoroughly. If the strip is damaged, you can flip it over and use the other side.
5. The angle of the water squeegee can be adjusted. The correct angle for the water squeegee is approximately 5 degrees in the reverse direction. Adjustment is made using the two screws located on top of the squeegee. Typically, this angle is already set correctly at the factory. However, if there’s still an issue, you’ll need to try adjusting it yourself.
