Explosion-proof valves are primarily used in hydraulic systems of large-scale mechanical stages, lifting platforms, elevators, and vehicle inspection and repair frames—equipment that lacks mechanical locking systems. Their main function is to provide protection and prevent safety accidents. They constitute a type of locking mechanism within hydraulic systems. This requirement is mandatory for CE certification; thus, explosion-proof valves were first invented and manufactured in Europe. Later, they were introduced to China and have since gained widespread adoption. Explosion-proof valves feature a simple structure and a compact, space-saving design, making them easy to connect directly to the inlet of the actuator unit.
