Progress on the Construction of Key Provincial Projects from January to July 2022
In 2022, our province scheduled 1,570 key provincial construction projects with an annual planned investment of 900 billion yuan. From January to July, the completed investment in these key provincial projects reached 587.1 billion yuan, achieving a completion rate of 65.2%. A total of 147 new projects were launched, including Phase I of Foshan City’s Urban Rail Transit Line 4 and the JD Smart City Technology Innovation Center. Construction of ongoing projects such as the Guangzhou-Zhanjiang Railway, the Zhuhai Hengqin Port and Integrated Transportation Hub Project, the Guangzhou South Station to Baiyun Airport Section of the Guangzhou-Foshan Ring Railway, the Huangmaohai Cross-Sea Passage, and the Guangzhou North Station Integrated Transportation Hub Project is progressing smoothly.
