What should you do if the brush disc of a fully automatic floor scrubber isn't rotating?
Today, fully automatic floor scrubbers are widely recognized in the market for their excellent cleaning performance, and their presence can be seen in places such as shopping malls, hotels, factories, and schools.
Floor scrubbers have become one of the preferred cleaning devices in the cleaning industry. However, as with any machine, malfunctions are inevitable. So, what exactly does a floor scrubber brush?

1. If the capacitor in a floor scrubber fails—if the start capacitor has burned out but the run capacitor is still functional—the motor can still operate, and the running torque after startup remains unchanged; however, the starting torque will be significantly reduced. If the run capacitor is faulty, the starting torque won't be greatly affected, though the torque during normal cleaning will be somewhat lower. You can check inside the water tank to confirm. If the capacitor is damaged, you’ll need to replace it with a new one.
2. Wiring Issues in Floor Scrubbers: If the floor scrubber’s brush disc isn’t rotating, another possible cause could be a wiring problem. You’ll need to check the entire wiring path—from the switch for the brush disc all the way down to the motor. Aging wiring can also lead to the brush disc failing to rotate. Simply inspect the wiring that powers the brush disc; if this section checks out fine, then you’ll have identified the issue as being with the wiring.
3. If the brush motor of the floor scrubber is damaged, it could be due to aging of the motor itself. The best solution is to replace it with a new brush motor of the same type. Alternatively, the issue might stem from worn-out carbon brushes in the motor; in this case, simply replacing the brushes can resolve the problem. You can also remove the original carbon brushes, reposition them, and continue using the machine.
