Precautions for industrial vacuum cleaner maintenance?
The following are precautions for maintaining industrial vacuum cleaners:
Precautions for Daily Use
- Pre-operation check Check whether the power plug and socket are cracked, damaged, or loose; ensure that the power cord is intact and undamaged; verify that the hose has no cracks or signs of aging; confirm that the filter is neither damaged nor clogged; and ensure that the suction nozzle is in good condition.
- Control working hours Do not allow the industrial vacuum cleaner to operate continuously for extended periods. Try to limit the operating time to within 2 hours to prevent the equipment from overheating and prolong its service life.
- Avoid adsorbing foreign substances. Avoid sucking up large, hard objects such as metal pieces and stones, as well as flimsy items like paper scraps that can easily cause blockages—this will help prevent clogging of the straw or damage to the device.
- Handle with care. The device should be handled with care and not subjected to external impacts, to prevent damage to the casing or displacement of internal components.
Cleaning and Maintenance Precautions
- Shell cleaning Wipe with a damp cloth using a water-based or neutral detergent. Do not immerse the main unit head in water for cleaning, nor use any cleaning agents containing corrosive substances, as this could cause the casing to crack.
- Regularly clear away clutter. The debris and various vacuum attachments inside the vacuum cleaner’s dustbin should be cleaned regularly. After each use, the dust bin and dust bag must be cleaned and inspected for any punctures or air leaks. Once cleaned, they should be thoroughly dried; damp or wet dust bins and dust bags must not be used.
- Clean the filter screen. After prolonged use, the filter screen may become clogged, leading to a decrease in suction power. Therefore, you should regularly clean both the filter screen and the dust bag. After cleaning, be sure to let them dry completely before using them again.
- Check after absorbing water After the water absorption process is complete, check whether the equipment’s air inlet is blocked or obstructed by debris, and clean it thoroughly. Also, inspect the float wave for any damage.
Inspection and Maintenance Precautions
- Check the power cord and plug. Regularly check the power cord and plug for any damage or signs of aging. After use, coil the power cord neatly and hang it on the hook located on the top cover of the device.
- Inspect mechanical components Regularly inspect the mechanical components of the equipment, such as ensuring that vacuum tools are in good condition and replacing them promptly if any wear is found. Also, check all fastening parts and tighten any that are loose.
- Check the motor and bearings. The motor bearings of the vacuum cleaner should be regularly lubricated. If the carbon brushes of the motor become worn after prolonged use, they should be replaced with new ones.
- Check the sealing gasket. If the sealing gasket inside the vacuum cleaner has aged and lost its elasticity, it should be replaced promptly.
Storage Precautions
- Dry and well-ventilated When stopping use of the device, it should be placed in a dry, well-ventilated area, avoiding direct sunlight and humid environments to prevent damage to the device.
- Avoid frequently folding the hose. The hose should not be repeatedly bent or flexed, nor stretched or twisted excessively, to avoid compromising its service life and performance.
